Over the past few years an active and constantly growing TextGrid-Community evolved. The community has an established forum via regular user meetings related to specific subjects and use cases as well as via trainings and workshops. Information on past and future events are provided in the section “Events” along with a variety of presentations and documents.
In this context the research associations and edition projects using TextGrid for their work play an important role: Projects like the Hybrid-Edition of the Notebooks of Theodor Fontane (Theodor-Fontane-Office of the University of Göttingen), the Text-Database and Dictionary of Classic Mayan (University of Bonn) and the Library of Neology (University of Münster). A presentation of their work is available at: “Projects introduce themselves”. You would like to realize a humanities research project e.g. a digital edition with TextGrid? Please do not hesitate to contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org.
